Let Flo read a report for you

Open the deliverable and drop the report onto the period you are logging, or onto Campaign metrics for a one-time deliverable. Flo reads the numbers, fills them in, and keeps the file as proof. Check the numbers, then save.

Read the report for one week, month, or quarter

On a repeating deliverable, such as monthly homepage banners, Flo reads the report for a single period. It looks for the number the schedule counts, like impressions, and also picks up clicks when the target is impressions.

  1. In the Delivery and proof card, click the period and drop the report on its drop zone. You can also click Log delivery and use Drop the report or a screenshot.
  2. Flo reads the file and tells you what it found, for example “Flo found 212,000 impressions for March.” The number goes into the form and the file is attached as proof.
  3. Check the number against the report. Change it if it is wrong, add more proof with Add a file, and click Save delivery.

If Flo can’t find the number for that period, it says so and still attaches the file as proof. Type the number yourself, or click Enter manually to skip the file.

Read a report on a one-time deliverable

One-time deliverables, like a single sponsored post, use the Campaign metrics card. On a repeating deliverable, the same card is under Detailed metrics and AI analysis.

  1. Drop one or more files on the message box in Campaign metrics, or attach them with the paperclip.
  2. Optionally tell Flo what to look for, such as “pull Instagram impressions and reach.”
  3. Click Analyze. Flo lists every metric it found with its source and date.
  4. Edit any value, remove the ones you don’t want, and click Apply. The metrics are recorded on the deliverable with the files as evidence.

Note: When the numbers clearly beat your targets, Flo may also suggest a status, such as completed. If it does, clicking Apply sets that status on the deliverable too.

Files Flo can read

FileWhat Flo does
PNG, JPG, GIF, or WebP screenshotReads the numbers in the image
PDF reportReads the text and tables
CSV, TSV, or Excel exportReads the rows and adds up totals where it makes sense
Word or PowerPoint fileReads the text; numbers that only appear inside slide images are missed

Each file can be up to 20 MB. If a report is larger, export a shorter date range or take a screenshot of the totals.

Getting the right number

  • Set a target first. Flo uses the deliverable’s target to know which number matters. See Record metrics and set targets.
  • Use a clear screenshot. Blurry or cropped images give Flo less to work with.
  • For reports that cover several months, log from the period you want. Flo uses the dates of that period to pick the right figure.
  • Always compare the number with the report before you save. Flo reads what it can see; you confirm it.

Note: Reading reports requires permission to edit agreements in your workspace. If the option fails with a permission error, ask a workspace admin.
