Send a tracked deck link
Open the deck, click Share, turn on Anyone with the link, and click Copy to paste the link into your email. To give each sponsor their own link, add one under Recipient links. SponsorFlo counts every open of every link.
Turn on the link
- Open the deck from Sell → Decks and click Share in the top bar.
- Turn on Anyone with the link. Until you do, the link only opens for signed-in teammates.
- Click Copy and paste the link into your email or message.
The link always shows the current version of the deck, so edits you make after sending show up for the sponsor.
Give each sponsor their own link
- Under Recipient links, type a label, for example “Acme — Q3 pitch”.
- Click New link, then Copy the link that appears.
Each recipient link counts its own opens and shows the date it was last opened. Click Revoke to turn off one link without breaking the others. Recipient links follow the main link: while Anyone with the link is off they don’t open, and its password and email settings apply to them too.
If the deck is for a company in your list, creating a recipient link also counts as sending it: the company’s deal opens at the proposal stage, or moves up to it. See Track a deal.
Ask for an email or a password
Once the link is on, three settings control who can open it. They apply to the main link and to every recipient link. Any of them asks viewers for their email first, so you see who opened the deck as well as how many times.
| Setting | What it does |
|---|---|
| Require viewer email | Viewers type their email before the deck loads. Anyone can get in; you see who they are. |
| Password | Viewers need the password you set, at least four characters. |
| Restrict by email | Only the addresses you add can open the deck. |
Before you share
- A free trial includes one tracked link: the main link for your trial deck, with its password and email settings. You see its opens, and who opened it when it asks for an email. Recipient links and sharing a second deck need a paid plan.
- If the top bar shows something to fix, such as text running past the edge of a slide, fix it first. Until then you’ll see Fix the deck before sharing.
- Links stop working 30 days after they’re created, or as soon as you revoke them. Click Share again to get a fresh link.
To email the deck as a PDF attachment instead, click Send, choose who it goes to, and click Compose email. To see opens, share a link. See Connect your email.
