Add a company

  1. Go to Sell → Companies and click Add company.
  2. Enter the company’s name and industry. Annual revenue and size are optional.
  3. To start a deal at the same time, enter an Opening deal value. SponsorFlo opens a prospect deal with the company for that amount.
  4. Click Create company. The company page opens.

Note: SponsorFlo checks for duplicates when you save. If a similar company already exists, you’re asked to review it in the full form instead of creating a second one.

Add a contact

  1. Go to Sell → Contacts and click Add contact.
  2. Enter a first and last name. Email, phone, and title are optional, but you need an email to send outreach or a signature request.
  3. Under Company, search your companies and pick one. You can then set their Role on the account and mark them the Primary contact.
  4. Click Create contact.

From a company page, Add contact adds a person who is already linked to that company.

Import a list from a CSV

  1. Go to Sell → Contacts, open the menu next to Add contact, and choose Import contacts. On Companies, the More menu has Import CSV, which opens the same import.
  2. Upload a .csv file of up to 10MB, with one person per row and columns such as first name, last name, email, company, and title.
  3. Choose the field each column fills, then click Save and continue. To have fields filled in for you, click Suggest with AI first and change any that are wrong.
  4. Optionally click Check emails to check the addresses before importing, or click Skip this step.
  5. Review the preview and click the import button. A summary shows how many contacts and companies were added or matched.

How the import handles duplicates

In your fileWhat happens
A row without a valid emailSkipped. Every imported contact needs an email address.
An email that’s already in your contactsMatched to the existing contact, so no duplicate is created.
The same email on two rowsThe first row is used.
A company you already haveReused, and the contact is linked to it.
A company you don’t have yetCreated, and the contact is linked to it.

Tip: If a company’s name or website is close to one you have but not the same, the import creates a new company and lists both under Possible duplicate companies. Open the company to review it before you start working it.
